Hello. This is 222mm shock and maybe 70mm travel, Idk. All depends of bike frame geometry. You 100% can use smaller shocks, but most of the frames don't let you to use bigger shocks. And keep in mind that your front fork will have wider angle and geometry overall will change. It may cause decrease steering of your bike. Hope this info will help you.

@@AXRV88 i measured it and 200x57mm fits. altough it messes up the geometry a little ita worth it. btw how many adjustments are on the shock and what are those adjustments

There are standard adjustments rebound, compression and air preload.

Hello. I can't give some advises that will be 100% accurate now, but as i know cartridges differs by upper leg diameter and lenght. By using this info, you can search for forks that similar with yours by these parameters and try it to fit. Hope this info will help.

В целом без разницы. Главное, чтобы витки каретки были смазаны. Это позволит её установить с правильным моментом затяжки и потом спустя время, демонтировать для замены. Думаю лучше смазывать резьбу в раме, т.к. она выдавится внутрь, а с кареточной резьбы - наружу. Удачи

They are two parts of tha same system and assebmled as one module. I can't say 100% but they can affect each other if oil is dirty or there no oil at all. Some people can ride without oil and say that all work great.

Everytime you change oil, the best thing is to clean all parts even if it's "clean"

If i get it right, so yes. Thick oil is for lubing bushings between upper and lower legs.

As you watch closely to video preview you can read that it is float.

@@AXRV88 не подскажите что обозначают звуковые сигналы во время зарядки? Мигает оранжевый, издаёт три сигнала, загорается красный и ещё два сигнала идёт. Походу акуму конец приходит?

@@AXRV88 и ещё был момент, может кому пригодится, перестал сосать пыль, просто катался, оказалось волосы попали в турбину, у неё выдув в полость правого колеса, если смотреть сверху.

На счёт звуковых сигналов во время зарядки, вполне возможно, что аккум заканчивается. Но это лишь мои догадки. Может быть контакт при зарядке плохой, стоит проверить.

Волосы попали в турбину? Там же 2 фильтра. И ещё странно, почему он ошибку не выдал из-за неработающей турбины. Обычно он выдаёт красную ошибку и замирает. Возможно не до конца был вставлен лоток или может фильтр порвался? Кстати, из-за того, что у него "выхлоп" под колесо, часто он те же самые волосы сдувает и приходится гонять его дольше, чтобы собрал и то, что сам раскидал.

You'll be surprized, but i unscrew it with tiny flat screw driver. I can suggest you to search for tools for electronics. There are many sizes and types. Maybe it will help you.

It was too many time ago, i don't remember these details. I always try to show materials which i use if it is important.

Если всё же ездит какое-то время... Предположу, что аккум подошел к концу, если после этого не включается, пока не зарядится на станции. Иначе странно, что какая-то серьёзная ошибка возникает спустя 5 минут. Кстати я бы проверил на лёгкость вращения колёс. Возможно спустя 5 минут клинит одно из колёс и из-за этого разворачивается и уходит в ошибку. Опять же это мои догадки. Лучше местному мастеру отдать на диагностику.

I have a diploma in metrology and metal working, so i have experience how not to damage things when metering it. But thanks for caution. I want to tell you that plastic metering tools can't give you right data from metering. P.s. this new shaft will last forever in comparisson with original. This shaft made out from steel which uses in offroad motorcycle shocks shafts production.

@@AXRV88 I didn't realize you changed the shaft , ya , I only use plastic micrometers when I have to , I like starrett or mitutoyo for accuracy ,

@jacobclark89, yes this is a totally different shaft. You can find on this YT channel a couple other videos about this shock. Starrett and mitutoyo are great brands. But plastic can't give the same precision as metal, if you need so. Also here was used USSR micrometer from 1978 as i remember it right. And thank you for commenting. I like to read and answer to it. If your version has a shaft of the same size as dhx 5.0 it will work. Mine has 14+mm and dhx 5.0 shaft just wouldn't fit. And no, i didn't change bushing and seal in the seal head. Till today it works perfectly.

I see. But aren't any word about this bushing here. Here were changed other bushings.

Hello. If your engine has normal compression, low oil consumption and your car has good acceleration you need no repair. This motor was developed to work like this. Even if you remove spark plugs and lift your car on one side, just try to rotate floating front wheel when car is on 5th gear. You will hear the same diesel noises like when it normally works. Just drive you car and be safe.

I would suggest you to use synthetic oil in high performance forks.

Там действительно много грязи собирается и затрудняет работу мотора. Самое главное, не испортить резьбу. Всё таки шуруп в пластике легко нарежет новую резьбу.

Здравствуйте. Затрудняюсь ответить на данный вопрос. Одно могу сказать, если горит красный индикатор - плохо, если зелёный - ничего серьёзного. Может быть сигнализирует, что батарея уже имеет высокий износ. Но это не точно. В сервисе наверняка знают, в чем может быть проблема.

@@AXRV88 благодарю. Она меняет цвет. Зарядилась-зеленый, потом двойной сигнал и красная. После сигнала снова зелёная. Убирает долго...

Скорее всего сбой с зарядкой. Быстро батарея может садиться, если на щётках у основания скопилось много грязи и волос. Особенно на центральной щётке. Из-за этого возрастает нагрузка на моторы и батарея тратится значительно быстрее. Может быть так происходит только у моего пылесоса меня, не могу сказать точно. А в целом, если после зарядки моргает красным, то я думаю, что там проблема с зарядкой или батареей. Я бы обратился к сервис, т.к. неисправные батареи могут привести к пожару.

It works great for all these years. I think a chrome shaft slides better than original but it is third or half heavier. I have dhx 5.0 and rockshox monarch rc3 as well but i don't use them because i like this one.

Just try to change O-ring first. If it will not help, than maybe valve shaft is worn out.

Может быть болт на герметик закручен. Трудно сказать, что может быть не так, не видя того, что там происходит. Если вилка у тебя б/у, то вообще не известно, что делали с ней.

@@AXRV88 короче тупо как прикипел. Вот из-за того что она бу, я и боялся на чудить, но всё прошло успешно))) демпфер правда чуть видоизменён. Сейчас всё собрал- шепчет вилочка🤤

@AlSanjisan хз какой принципиально лучше. Как в видео, это эволюция вело картриджа, в CR начались их изыскания "а давайте сделаем как в кроссовой вилке". Это мои личные доводы.

Я тоже им доволен. Бегает и убирается по сей день.
